NEW LOAN APPLICATIONS

New loan applications are for first time borrowers. If you have previously borrowed from the Foundation,
please complete a renewal application.

Checklist of requirements:

  • Completed application
  • Two letters of recommendation from people who know you well. One must be from an educator.
  • Copy of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid showing your EFC
  • High school final transcript. Note: The Hoover High School Guidance Office will automatically
    provide a transcript for Hoover applicants.
  • Official college transcript if you are already attending college
  • All materials must be mailed in one envelope and must be postmarked by June 1st
    of the year you want the loan.
  • You and your parents/guardian must attend an interview that will be scheduled in June.
  • Be sure to keep the Information Sheet that is part of the application package for future reference.
